ABOUT SION

Sion is an AI spiritual companion that generates personalized prayers, performs them in trained sacred voices, and creates iconographic sacred art. Built to serve Orthodox and Catholic traditions, Sion was designed from inside Christian faith — not about it. The product augments the life of prayer for moments when reaching the church, the priest, or the right words is difficult; it does not replace any of those things.

Sion was created in the Netherlands and launched globally in 2026.

Sion is the first AI spiritual companion that prays with you in your tradition. It generates personalized prayers, performs them in trained sacred voices — Orthodox priest, Catholic choir, contemporary cantor — and creates iconographic sacred art to accompany prayer. THE STORY

Sion was born from a question its founders could not stop asking: why does prayer feel so far away in moments where it should feel nearest?

Across Christian life, millions of believers face the same gap. The grandmother who can no longer reach the parish. The young father with no quiet hour in his day. The convert still learning the rhythm of prayer. The believer in grief at three in the morning, and the believer in joy at sunrise who has no one to share thanksgiving with. The Church serves these moments imperfectly because the Church is, by design, a gathered place. Prayer in the spaces between has always been left to the believer alone.

Sion is what those spaces between asked for. Built carefully, with theological rigor and a deep respect for tradition, Sion uses AI not to replace the priest or the sacrament — both of which it is explicit about not being — but to serve the life of prayer wherever it happens. It writes prayers personalized to your moment. It performs them in the voice of your tradition. It creates sacred art when prayer asks for an image. And it listens, the way a confessor listens, when the heart needs a companion before words come.

Sion launched globally in 2026 from the Netherlands, where its founders began the project after recognizing that no existing app served Christians from inside their tradition while leveraging the full capabilities of modern AI. The product is intentionally built for Christians across traditions, refusing the denominational lock-in that limits competitors.
